File location for mods on the Steam Deck I'm struggling to get my game working with the mods I use on PC. While the workshop stuff just works fine, I can't find the place where to save my other mods, which I downloaded from the Internet on Steam Deck's Linux system
1. load your game profile. 2. type "g_remove_missing_accessories 1" in console. 3. manualy reload your saved game. 4. type "g_remove_missing_accessories 0" in console. or: You can load the profile with set "g_remove_missing_accessories 1". Put this line into profile config and load the save.
The save game file does not contain any dlc. There are no map dlc, mods and truck dlcs. When you activate your own dlc and enter the game, there will be no problem. It is fully compatible with version 1.47. tested. It has been adapted without any problems in the new update, it has no problems with opening late and not loading. Credits: RedeX01

1. Load previous save, find a Quick Job that's as close to my intended location as possible. 2. Make a new save. Copy the location value from it to POST save, while using the PRE values for job info and gps. I still strongly feel that the true reason for the resets must be unrelated to physical collisions during map changes.

Oke. On this location: C:\Users\YOURNAMEHERE\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\profiles\lotsofnumbershere\save\autosave there is a lot of unreadable info. So now I have to look for the "save editor". Thanks for reaction.
I have found it. (Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit) It's quite strange, there appears to be two very similar folder. 1. C:\Users icky9499\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2. 2. E:\UserFiles\My Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2 (UserFiles folder is manually defined UserData on separate SSD alongside AppData and Page File) The correct log file is in
The file can be found at "C:\Users\*USERNAME*\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2" for a default install. There's a good chance that there's error's in this log that will help determine what is causing the bad textures to show.
